Ibiyemi – Don’t Leave Me

Ibiyemi is no ordinary performer for those that witnessed the 2007 presidential inauguration ceremony. The California born, Nigeria raised singer/songwriter took control of the occasion from the first note rising above the ruins of bad governance and mismanagement of our beloved country. Nothing earthly but of celestial origins could explain that voice, which entrapped the emotions of men into her aural landscape. Her smooth and confident voice is priceless beyond measure like Rambaldi artifacts.

“Don’t Leave Me” finds Ibiyemi persuading her lover to stay stating that their togetherness was predestined. The song captured her emotional breakdown and her struggle to hold on to a man she loves dearly who is slipping away.

You should also check out the video of her first single “Can You Love Me?
