I know it's the job of a reviewer to critisize, and ok, when you love music you can be very, very demanding. Yet, Ikechukwu is one of a few rappers that I can listen to whithout actually wincing at the "deja-vu" feeling of the rhymes. (Seriously there are many songs on the market I don't even bother to listen past the minute). Not that he delivers rhymes that have never been heard before (which is an utopia, as nothing's new under the skies), but because he actually makes you fall again for sounds or styles seen before. Nobody can say music in the 90s wasn't damn good. Don't be so harsh. Delivering the perfect rhymes is easier said than done. Don't know how well YOU would do. Just make sure the African artists don't get lost into enjoying their status and delivering us "haters" tracks. Encourage them to keep on getting better and better.
