Atlanta, GA- R&B sensation Lloyd will kick off the International fest Music Mix Africa the first week of April in Ghana and then Nigeria.

Music Mix Africa is a monthly concert experience in West Africa featuring an impressive line-up of R&B superstars.

Presented by Interglobe Concepts Inc., Music Mix Africa was designed to establish a cultural connection between the two continents. Ghana’s hottest nightspot and vibrant scene will be the host of the first show on April 2, 2009. The decadent décor and artfully set interior will amplify the “flavours of life” experience of the evening. Lloyd will then travel to Nigeria to perform at Insomnia Nightclub.

Fans will get a chance to experience the talent behind these American superstars and in return each of the artists will gain extensive knowledge and understanding of the cultural landscape and the music industry of West Africa.

“Our objective is to bridge the gap in this market space between creative talent and the avenues for
its expression,” says global humanitarian and founder of Interglobe Concepts Inc., Bunmi Jinadu, who has worked a vast array of superstars, such as Sean “Diddy” Combs, Lauryn Hill, Akon and Wyclef Jean. “For the past thirteen years, we have used the company’s unique resources to both enrich lives and serve the public interest in Africa and around the world.”

Jinadu’s mission is to not only bring stellar entertainment to West Africa, but also awareness and healing to a part of the world that may be rich in natural resources, but is blaringly underserved and often forgotten. “We have and will continue to collaborate with organizations like Licensed2Heal to serve and empower forgotten communities in Africa and to raise awareness and support for those dealing with the plight of AIDS in Africa.”

The Music Mix Africa Concert Series seeks to entertain and educate. It’s a party that fuels philanthropy.

The next R&B superstars to storm West Africa will be multi-platinum chart-toppers Trey Songz in May and former Ludacris protégé Bobby Valentino in June. Jinadu is confident his creation will impact the world and become an international phenomenon. “It is this desire to serve that fuels our strategic decision to enter and become a leader in the African entertainment and marketing space.”

About Lloyd: Best know for chart topping hits “Get it Shawty” and “Girls Around the World” (with Grammy winning, multi-platinum rapper Lil Wayne), he will  give his mega-fans in West Africa a super dose of  his unique blend of street wise rhythms and  sexy serenades found on both his debut album, Southside and his well-received sophomore project, Street Love. In return Lloyd will further his familiarity with the societal traditions of the culture and lifestyle of West Africa.
