They say good music is hard to come by this days, well mine is a different case because there has been in flock of not just good music but inspirational/motivational music that has been coming my direction. Take this Washington DC emcee “Articulate” has a perfect example of emcees that not just make music because others are making it or just make music for the sake of making music. He makes music that touches the very inner most part of you, there is no track on his new EP (Slave For This Dollar) that has not been a total reflection of my life or the lives of people around me and emcees like him are the reason why all those commercial junks I have on my hard disk are getting extinct. And I’m pretty sure by the end of this year they will all be gone and not to return to my hard disk again forever and ever (Amen) lol…with all that said I will leave you with a joint off “Slave For This Dollar” that just made the number spot on my playlist and it isn’t coming down any time soon, unless if “Articulate” or any of these real hip-hop heads bless me with a new joint.
