NaijaDjs supposedly Boycotts Sauce KiD music

Recently, we heard about Sauce’s Comment regarding his feelings towards Naija Djs and African Kings also known as “AKS”… Which was released today 04/07/2008

“Naijadjs supposedly Boycotts Sauce KiD music, Well im clearing the air!”
To members of SAUCE KID

Well here is our side of the Story… You start off being a new born baby and as you grow up u end up having friend, going through Life and eventually realize each and every one has a calling in their life… Whether it is to be a Doctor, Pastor, Lawyer, DJ, Producer, Dancer, Artists, etc… (And it can really go on… but y’all know what I mean…) then once you reach to that certain level, you realize how funny it becomes when u get this little fame and let it psyche your head, making you forget about your loved ones, friends or those who supported you in the start!!!

All of a sudden you feel you are higher/bigger/better than everyone… No matter what music is always going to be in our lives whether we like it or not! Let me make sure we all have a clear understanding about African Kings… African Kings are not RAPPERS, SINGERS or DANCERS… We Are Entertainers Repping African Music to the fullest! Reasons we call ourselves African Kings has a looooong Story behind it but to keep long short… I (D-Mite a.k. Dog-No-Mite) was born in Houston TX, raised in Europe(Where no one seemed to care where u from… If u black, u are African PERIOD.), and when I returned 2 da States 6yrs ago, I found out something that was quite shocking! We have soooo many Nigerians/Africans THAT ARE NOT PROUD OF WHERE THEY ARE FROM (Trust Me!)… I would ask them, and they would respond in a manner of Disgust! So I always wanted to know why and what is going on…. In High School, Me and my Cousin(Sean-C a.k.a Da Mayor F) would claim African Kings to help encourage every other Africans that had accents, shame or just were scared to rep Africa to be true to themselves… (And most of y’all who went to High School in the States know what I’m talking about…)

I had a calling to be a Producer(Even though my mother saw me as an engineer…) and have been Producing tracks for 7yrs… 3yrs ago I decided to fully DEDICATE my music and my work to the African Music Industry and share my experience w/ my boys hence, started the group African Kings! Sean(who is gifted in Music as well), decided to bring ideas how we should elevate our movements and Target America with our music and maybe JUST MAYBE we(Africans), through Music, can gain some respect in the US…(Even though Akon is doing it, we still believe if we break through this will surely happen)

We’ve been around and when we asked some folks about their opinions regarding African music… all they could ever say is, some dudes banging on congas and when they heard our music, their opinions changed QUICKLY! “Dang! I didn’t know Africans made music like this…”

Mind you, we grew up in the States and we could totally sound like any average American Rappers but what will it make us??? They played Sean-Paul, Elephant Man, or Shaggy on BET… and Mind you, they don’t have a damn clue of what they are saying… but it’s music to their ears… WE WILL BRING PIGGIN TO THE GAME and this is why we keep it real by sticking to our Nigerian Roots!!!

Back To The STORY(I know huh? FINALLY!!!):

I don’t want to sound like a hater but Sauce Kid “BabaLola”, is an OK rapper… Not like I haven’t heard people rap like him before… (Remember! I am a Producer and I have seen tons of dudes that claimed they could rap and tons that COULD actually RAP) How did we meet?

It started off with one of my peeps from Amplifyd Crew (Mr. Bode himself) who introduced him to me (After Producing their Number one Single “Wetin Man go Do (Remix)”) and I checked the dude out and thought he was alright… So I actually went to him and proposed a beat for him knowing that this cat has been spitting on used Beats for his promo and has been selling them online (Which you not suppose to do… VERY ILLEGAL but hey! Gotta do what u gotta do to make that Bread =D)

So I decided, as a good Nigerian to SUPPORT him because ~My Beats Are Legendary~ and he said he would holla at me if he was interested… And then he told me the kind of style/genre he likes(which was Remy Ma’s Beat – Conceited) and I agreed to actually work on it… Then told him about our project(New Album “NU Revolution” Release Date: TBA).

Rumor has it going, saying that Sauce Kid was not Original and some people preferred our music better than his… and vice versa.. I guess he took it personally and came at me directly and addressed his issues… Which I gave him Mad respect for… As he was filling me in about the issue I started noticing resentment towards AKS… Which bold statements such as,: “F*** your crew, ur Productions and Acid Entertainment(Record Label) and da rest was just more diss…” I chilled on it and didnt let it disturb me…(@ that Moment he was still doing it big and letting this music ego get in his head… Which is normal in the music industry but must have @ least some kind of control!)

Then as time progressed, and he started noticing our movement, thats when the “KID” took action to act upon his Name “sauceKID”(Lol… always asked myself why a grown person would want to go by KID =D *lil j/k*) by dissing us on his Facebook status(Which he claims to only use for Promotional and Networking purposes)… So it was kind of fun to actually have an artist that is already in the game hating on us =) So we played along w/ his game… Then he went to the Radio Station(My TruSpot Radio) to actually diss us… Then Dissed Naija DJS and you expect them to praise you after that??

THESE OTHER NIGGAZ IS CONFUSED!
ITSNAIJA”

Ok ok ok… His Excuse for actually hating on us is “I was trying to give them Publicity” or “They were looking for Publicity so I helped them out!” PUBLICITY??? Here’s what I want to make sure we all understand…. We never called this guys name out but he called our name out yet he had the nerves to say we were seeking PUBLICITY??? I mean How does this work… Is this the new way to try and shut Upcoming artist up??

One thing I want to let everyone know! Whether they like our music or not, nothing will ever stop our passion for repping and putting Nigeria on the Map! As far as we hear ONE person sing our song, It is a Mission accomplished!! Sauce sounds like an old fart w/ no teeth that really can’t feel his face on all his tracks… I mean the dude mumbles on his track trying to sound like he an Akata/Gangster or something… HIS NAME IS BABALOLA str8 up Nigerian born and raised in Nigeria yet claims to be African/American (Who the f*** lied to you?) Just because dem dash you Blue Passport! You deh craze??

Anyways, Sauce is a twisted Artist and really IS A KID… as in, if you do not like his music, you are a hater or you should die or he will delete you from his friend’s list like a lil KID would do! And to all our Fans, NO! We are not doing a diss track… Diss track for wetin?? to who?? that KID?? He has already Dissed himself by dissing us and Naija DJS… So he aint worth our Studio Time Yah Digg?? So with all this said, I want to Personally shout out to EVERY UPCOMING ARTIST DOING THEIR THING! If you need Beats, you already know who to holla @…

We will always support Nigeria in everyway through our Music(except for 419 business Example: Cali Reunion… =D J/K) Abeg… Ugo UMEH/IGWE no stone me ooooh…. Why should we support the movement? because:
